Websites are quickly looking to the smartphone market as a way to enhance and add to the overall user experience with their content. While some websites are able to find that perfect, easy to use design/interface that engages users, others struggle with finding that same “sweet spot”
For a couple of months now, Fabulis has made it known that an app was on the way. On Saturday, Jason Goldberg (Founder of Fabulis) announced via e-mail that Fabulis.com’s new iPhone App was available for free download on iTunes. After playing with the app for several days, I’ve come to the conclusion that while the app is an obvious next step for the expansion of the site, the current iteration adds only minimal value to the Fabulis experience.  But lets look at a little closer?
As current Fabulis users already know, the site utilizes the profile information of Facebook users who have connected the two networks. Â So, in other words, there is no such thing as a non-Facebook Fabulis user. Â Great idea, but in turn, this just means extra creativity is needed to make this something more than just a new Facebook app.
Enter the questions and voting. Â Users can vote each other up and ask each other random questions. Answering and receiving votes will help your “ranking.” One of my biggest criticisms of Fabulis has always been that there is no transparency in how these calculations are made, nor is there any existing record of who you voted for, who voted for you, or how many bits each vote consisted of.
This criticism transfers to the app, as there these features, which largely differentiate it from Facebook, are largely absent in the app. You can still choose to get push notifications of when people vote you up, but there’s no way to know on the app how much they voted. On the website, there really is no obvious way to know after the inital pop-up window unless you write it down. I find this inconvenient as I personally like to return the favor when I have enough bits.
Overall, I like Fabulis and the app, but these criticisms are some I would highly encourage them to look into for an improved user experience. Â Let’s make the beta testing worthwhile and give some feedback!

As a teenager Mink Stole met John Waters in Baltimore. Little did she know that her roles in such cult classics as “Pink Flamingos” and “Female Trouble” and then later on in “Hairspray” and “Serial Mom” would become some of the most beloved and twisted films of all time.

Many of John Water’s most memorable lines were delivered by Mink, like in the film “Female Trouble” where she screams, “I wouldn’t suck your lousy dick if I was suffocating and there was oxygen in your balls.”
Although she’s appeared in every single one of his films, Mink still found the time to develop an acting career and even form her own band. This year Mink appears in Joshua Grannell’s film debut “All About Evil” as a nagging librarian who meets her untimely demise.

With the help of a few good developers we've started collecting information, such as IP addresses, logs and screen captures of offenders who actually break US/UN laws by broadcasting innapropriate content in a specific situations. We've captured and saved thousands of IP addresses of alleged offenders, along with logs and screenshots which prove wrong behavior. We are initiating a conversation with enforcement agencies and we are willing to provide all the information we have. I hope that with help of a Criminal law we can finally get the problem out of our shoulders and get existing organizations which usually solve these kind of problems to help us.

Did you hear the one about the Senate Majority leader going steady with Dan Choi?
Sen. Harry Reid accepted Lt. Dan Choi’s West Point ring at Netroots Nation during a speech that he had started out by mentioning Dan by name. Vowing to hold the ring until the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal is complete after being given the ring by the interviewer, Joan McCarter, Reid called Dan up to the stage and embraced him when Dan walked over to salute him. I had a clear shot to see it, as the person in the seat next to me just happened to be… Dan Choi.
I would love to share my pictures of the whole thing with you, except I only have pictures of Dan standing up when mentioned by Reid earlier. During the whole talked-about “ring” event, I was too choked up and emotional to get my camera out again. Instead, check out the whole story at Pam’s House Blend, which includes video from Jeremy Hooper’s Good As You.
Folks from all over ran over to shake Dan’s hand and take pictures. I had the honor of giving Dan’s shoulder a little squeeze when he sat back down. I’m not sure if he felt it, as he was pretty busy at the moment, but I’d like to think he noticed and understood how much he means to me and all of us.

Quick, easy, and ding dang delicious, my lemon chess pie with blueberry topping is the perfect summertime treat! The lemony custard and the sweet blueberries in simple syrup will put the fun back into any dysfunctional family barbecue or day at the beach.
Pie Crust
1 stick of butter
1 1/3 cup of All purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp vinegar or vodka
1 tbsp milk
3 to 5 tbsp of ice water
1. Cut the butter into small chunks. Sift all dry ingredients. Cut the butter into the dry mixture until the butter looks like cornmeal or small peas.
2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add milk, vinegar (or vodka) and 3 tbsp of ice water. Mix until dough comes together. If the dough is dry, add water in teaspoons. The dough should be firm and not sticky.
3. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
4. Roll out dough to fit at 9 inch pie plate.
Lemon Chess filling
1 stick soft butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/3 cup lemon juice
zest of on lemon
3 tbsp All purpose flour
1.Pre heat the oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Scrape down the bowl. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until combine.
2. Add lemon juice, zest, and flour. Mix. The batter will look lumpy and curdled. This is okay.
3. Pour the batter into the prepared unbaked pie shell. Bake on the center shelf of the oven for 30-35 minutes. The filling will have a dark brown color and look a little burnt. This is okay. The filling should be wobbly and slightly firm to the touch but not sloshing about.
4. Remove and cool on rack. While pie is cooling prepare the berries.
Blueberry Topping
1 pint of blueberries ( raspberries or blackberries also work)
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1. In a saucepan, stir sugar and water together. Bring mixture to a rolling boil. The sugar should be totally
dissolved in the water. No grit should remain.
2. Remove stems from berries and gently wash.
3. Add berries to the boiling sugar. Stir just to coat the berries. Allow the mixture to simmer for 1 minute. If you want a smoother topping, cook the berries a little longer.
4. Remove from heat and cool. Top pie just prior to service. Chill the leftovers if there are any! Enjoy

Now the penis has gone missing. An unknown assailant knocked the stone member off and removed it, prompting Joop, 65, to file a legal complaint. The police have launched an investigation. “This is desecration of a cemetery, it’s not done,” Joop told Bild newspaper on Saturday.
